Scaling Impact: From Individual Change to Institutional Transformation
Hosted by
Vaneeta Gangwani, Associate Partner – Price Waterhouse Chartered Accountants LLP
India’s CSR spending is expected to triple this decade from the last one, marking a significant rise in private capital for social development. While still modest when compared to public expenditure, this growth calls for more strategic and meaningful use of CSR funds. To maximise this opportunity, CSR investments must move beyond direct delivery to become strategic enablers of scalable impact.
Relevance
CSR-driven impact is observed at four distinct levels. At the individual level, companies aim to improve lives through direct initiatives in education, healthcare, and skills development. On a community scale, they work on enhancing infrastructure, promoting entrepreneurship, and strengthening local economies to broaden their influence. Corporates are vital at the institutional level by developing capacity and creating centers of change that propagate impact throughout their networks. At the next level, companies partner with governments and civil society to advocate for policy changes that support equitable development.
In this interactive masterclass, PW will leverage real-world case studies and decision-making frameworks to provide participants with the necessary tools to effectively elevate their impact across these levels.
Indicative Key sub themes to be covered:
- Individual empowerment as a catalyst for broader change
- Community capacity building and infrastructure development
- Institutional partnerships and network building
- Leveraging policy advocacy for systemic transformation
- Holistic impact evaluation and strategic frameworks
