With evolving CSR regulations and increasing corporate expectations, NGOs must deliver proposals that not only align with mandatory 2% CSR spend requirement under the law, but also demonstrate –

  • Transparency and traceability in fund utilization
  • Demonstrate measurable impact pathways.
  • Beneficiary data confidentiality in line with the new data protection Act
  • Strong governance and oversight for effective program implementation
  • Show scalability, replicability, and alignment with national priorities.

This session addresses these challenges by providing a multi-stakeholder perspective to empower NGOs to design proposals that build funder confidence, ensure compliance, and articulate clear impact pathways. Equip participants with actionable insights, templates, and checklists to strengthen proposal quality and compliance readiness.

Key Topics Being Explored:

  • Updated statutory and corporate compliance requirements for CSR proposals, including data privacy and beneficiary protection.
  • Structuring proposals for clarity, impact, and governance transparency.
  • Funder expectations for risk mitigation and accountability.
  • Common pitfalls and compliance "red flags" to avoid.
  • Practical tools: proposal template with embedded compliance prompts and data management clauses.

Expected Outcomes:

Participants will leave with:

  • Enhanced ability to address funder priorities and audit scrutiny through strong governance and transparency.
  • Clear understanding of new compliance and data protection elements to be embedded in CSR proposals.
  • Practical templates and checklists for immediate application in proposal development.
